Rwanda the land of a thousand hills

On your journey through "The Land of a Thousand Hills" you visit some amazing places:

  • Hotel des Mille Collines, also known as Hotel Rwanda, after the American movie of the same name
  • Kigali Genocide Memorial, the Memorial monument and museum commemorating the nearly 1 million people who died in the genocide of 1994.
  • Nyngwe Forest, known as the source of the Nile. An enchanting rainforest where you walk on footbridges far up in the canopy and meet wild chimpanzees.
  • Lake Kivu, the lake in the heart of Africa, on the border between Rwanda and Congo. Here you can swim, sunbathe, bury your feet in the warm sand, or perhaps sail on the lake.
  • Volcanoes National Park in the Virunga Mountains where you encounter the fabled Gorillas of The Mist, the mountain gorillas. A meeting that will change your life.

We welcome you on a journey through rolling hills and green mountains in the beautiful warm Rwanda, a small country in the heart of Africa that offers great experiences.
